Sinopsis
RALPH is the laziest rat alive. He's never run, never fought, never left the barn — and he's perfectly fine with that. Until his dying mother reveals a secret: Ralph is the firstborn heir to the Helvetio Kingdom, a legendary rat monarchy in Switzerland, guardian of 10,000 cheeses from 500 varieties across 100 generations. Motivated entirely by cheese — and nothing else — Ralph embarks on an accidental journey from a Tennessee farm toward Europe: hitching rides on cheese trucks, befriending a Marxist cat, being nearly eaten by idiotic pigs, crowned king by starving forest rats, and outwitting a tyrannical Royal Eagle who has enslaved an entire mountain population. All of this without ever quite understanding what's happening. King Rat is a comedy of power, laziness, and accidental heroism. Every episode ends with the same question: What could possibly go wrong? — and every time, the answer is: everything.
